Dan McHugh has been playing Irish music since 2004. He first started learning whistle and Uilleann pipes in Philadelphia from Bil McKenty. Since then he’s been a regular attendee at the annual East Coast Tionol (Uilleann piping weekend) where he’s learned from some of the finest American and Irish pipers.

Dan has organized pipe learning events at the Philadelphia Irish Center and has performed multiple times at the annual Philadelphia Ceili Group festival. Also part of the session scene, Dan can be seen playing in Baltimore and Philly from time to time.
