Caitlin Hearn plays box and fiddle and grew up in the Irish traditional music community in Washington, DC. As a teenager, she played in the regionally renowned Bog Band, and has since spent time in traditional music communities both in the US and aborad. She grew up playing music with her brothers, Conor and Brendan, and recorded with the two of them as TriHearn. She is currently a student of Sean McComiskey in Baltimore.
She regularly performs on stages across the country, including at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games in North Carolina, the Baltimore Irish Trad Fest, and the CCE Irish Music Festival in Fairfax, Virginia. She has taught fiddle and box at the Irish Weekend in Ismaning, Germany, as well as the Celtic Folk Weekend in Regensburg, Germany.
She grew up playialso teaches box and fiddle at the Baltimore Irish Music School.
